We scored every US city over 50,000 people on two things at once — arenas per 100k residents and the median player rating of those arenas — so a city can't crack this list with one great venue or five mediocre ones.

Score = venues per 100,000 residents × median Google rating of the city's venues; both inputs are shown in the table. Venue counts use each venue's listed city, so suburbs are scored as themselves, not folded into the metro. Compiled from 1,525 venues and 1,280,364 public player reviews. Updated August 17, 2026; refreshed with each quarterly re-crawl.
