While we go to Great Wolf Lodge for my kids to enjoy the water park, my husband and I enjoy the opportunity to sneak away at night and play arcade games as a sort of mini date. Of course, we are always spending our winnings on things for our kids. This time we had such an amazing experience.
Its a fun little experience for the kiddos. Doesnt really work well for adults as much because the play space is super small. The kids loved trying to make it to the end without setting off the lights. You just have to explain the concept before starting the game because it is timed.
Birthday parties at Northern Lights Arcade
Northern Lights Arcade hosts birthday parties — confirmed on their own site. Laser tag parties usually come with a party host who runs the games, wrangles the group between rounds, and handles setup and cleanup — so parents can mostly watch the mayhem. Packages typically bundle a set number of games with a party room, pizza, and drinks, and many venues add private arena time for bigger groups. Packages, party rooms, and pricing change often, so check the current options and book ahead — weekend slots go fast at popular arenas.
Sensory-friendly play
Northern Lights Arcade is mentioned for sensory-friendly or adaptive accommodations — quieter sessions, adjusted lighting or sound, or staff used to working with players who need a gentler setup. Offerings like this vary a lot venue to venue and schedules change, so call ahead to ask what's available and when the next session runs.
