I don't usually leave reviews for places, but after reading the most recent reviews left on Friday I feel like this manager that is being attacked in these reviews needs a little back up.
When we first walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the smell. It didn't smell like a bowling alley that had been there for 100 years already. I really appreciated that aspect of it. The facility itself was clean and looked well maintained. Bathrooms were well kept and monitors all worked and looked nice.
I was present during this situation, and I’m genuinely saddened to read some of the recent reviews. The young woman at the front desk was doing everything she could to assist multiple customers, and I can only imagine the pressure she was under during such a busy holiday period.
The Gutter is an awesome bowling alley. The atmosphere is great for everyone and it's usually not too hard to get a lane. It's awesome when they turn the black lights on. I will say that I had a hard time finding a ball with holes large enough for my fingers, they could improve their ball selection.
